49ers Announce Roster Moves
San Francisco announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed Jimmie Ward to a three-year deal. The 49ers originally selected Ward in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The defensive back has appeared in 64 games throughout his six-year career, tallying 267 tackles, 28 passes defensed, 3.0 sacks and two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). He also started all three of the team's 2019 postseason contests, adding 17 tackles and one forced fumble.
The 49ers also announced they have signed linebacker Joe Walker to a one-year deal and that exclusive rights free agent tight end Ross Dwelley signed his one-year tender. Read more about Tuesday's announcement here.

Free Agency Updates from the NFC West
Another week of free agency means more roster updates from San Francisco's divisional rivals. While the first few days brought us the Arizona Cardinals newsworthy trade with the Houston Texans that sent veteran running back David Johnson to the "Lone Star State" in exchange for All-Pro receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, recent transactions will equally impact the 49ers road to consecutive divisional championships. Find out what moves the Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams are making to their rosters here.
