On Friday, the NFL released its list of compensatory picks for the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, and the San Francisco 49ers were awarded an extra pick.
According to the 2019 compensatory draft selections list, the 49ers now have the 212th overall pick, their second in the sixth round. This additional selection now gives San Francisco six total picks in the upcoming draft.
The 49ers traded away their fifth round pick in 2017 to the Detroit Lions in exchange for guard Laken Tomlinson, and their seventh round pick to the Cleveland Browns in 2018 for offensive tackle Shon Coleman.
