The NFL season kicks off in less than a month and the San Francisco 49ers are offering some exciting new fan programs for 2012.
Starting this week, "The Faithfulistas," a new women's club, the ever popular Kids Club, and the Crib Club, a new club for the youngest of 49ers fans, now have membership opportunities.
The 49ers launch The Faithfulistas, the Official 49ers Female Faithful Club, as part of on-going programming geared toward women—last year, CEO Jed York started the Denise DeBartolo York Fellowship, an annual entry level position in the 49ers front office for women interested in a career in the NFL. This new club will provide rare opportunities and insights into the team and create connections between fellow female 49ers fans.
Membership benefits include 49ers apparel, e-newsletters and special invitations to VIP 49ers events. The first 50 members to register will be invited to a VIP viewing party at the 49ers team practice on Thursday, August 16. This unique club is the vision of team owner Denise DeBartolo York and her daughters Jenna and Mara York with an open invitation for women to get more involved with the 49ers. Families have long enjoyed the NFL experience and the 49ers Kids Club presented by See's Candies delivers fun activities and popular goodies. The Kids Club, open to children ages 14 and under, provides members with a special merchandise package along with a discount at the online team store, Shop49ers.com, and entry into drawings for valuable prizes like tickets and autographed items. The youngest of 49ers fans now have their own organization. The newly formed Crib Club is available for those ages 3 and under. All Crib Club members receive a 49ers Crib Club onesie, matching beanie and bib, fan certificate, and a welcome letter from the team. Along with the Crib Club merchandise, members can enter special Crib Club contests to win 49ers gear and signed memorabilia, as well as receive special invitations to 49ers events.
