The San Francisco 49ers announced they will hold their annual Fan Appreciation Day on January 2, 2011, when the team faces the Arizona Cardinals at Candlestick Park. Fans also have the opportunity to participate in a Fan Appreciation Day contest available at 49ers.com.
As part of the Fan Appreciation Day contest, four Faithful Fans will be chosen and featured during each quarter of the game. Fans interested in participating can submit a letter and upload a photo or video link at 49ers.com showing why they are the biggest 49ers fan. Contest deadline is December 27, 2010.
Tourism Victoria, the day of game sponsor, will be hosting a halftime contest at the game with the grand prize being a three night vacation to Victoria, BC. Over the past few weeks people have been signing up for the contest in hope of being one of four contestants selected to compete at halftime. Representatives from Tourism Victoria will be at the game to present to prize to the winner.
All 49ers Faithful in attendance at the January 2 home game against Arizona will receive a Scratch-and-Win card upon entry, so every fan in the stadium will win something!
