49ers Co-Host Event for Female Athletes

This Friday, the 49ers will be partnering with FC Gold Pride and the Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (BAWSI) to co-host the 2nd annual T.H.I.N.K. GOLD! conference for high school girls focusing on maximizing the potential of young female athletes. T.H.I.N.K. The 49ers, FC Gold Pride and BAWSI are uniting to further encourage local female youth to participate in outdoor recreational sports activities in a healthy and successful manner.

"The San Francisco 49ers are honored to co-host the 2nd annual conference with two other great organizations committed to bringing awareness of the importance of women's sports in the South Bay," said 49ers Community Relations/49ers Foundation Director Joanne Pasternack. "Giving back to our community is something we pride ourselves on and we're looking forward to working with both FC Gold Pride and BAWSI who share that same commitment again this year through the conference."
