The San Francisco 49ers announced on Saturday that they have released the following nine players: Wide receiver DiAndre Campbell, running back Kendall Gaskins, defensive lineman Darren Lake, kicker John Lunsford, linebacker Wynton McManis, offensive lineman Blake Muir, offensive lineman Ian Silberman, wide receiver Jerome Simpson and cornerback Cleveland Wallace.
Additionally, the team announced they have placed wide receiver Eric Rogers on the Injured Reserve List.
The 49ers roster currently stands at 79 and must be trimmed to 75 by 1:00 p.m. PT on Tuesday, Aug. 30.
