49ers Announce Roster Moves

View every player currently on the San Francisco 49ers 2017 90-man roster.

The San Francisco 49ers have promoted WR Chris Harper to the active roster from the team's practice squad. In order to make room on the roster, the team has released WR Keshawn Martin. San Francisco has also signed WR Mose Frazier to the practice squad.

Harper (5-11, 185) was elevated to the team's active roster on September 12, 2016 from the practice squad and was active Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams. After being waived from the team on September 13, he was re-signed to the practice squad on September 15.

Harper will wear number 14.

Martin (5-11, 195) originally signed with the 49ers on September 27, 2016. He appeared in one game this season, returning two kickoffs for 37 yards (18.5 avg.) on special teams.

Frazier (5-11, 190) originally signed with the Denver Broncos on May 3, 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Memphis. He was waived by Denver on September 3 and added to the team's practice squad the following day. Following his release from Denver on October 18, he was signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad on October 25 before being waived by the team on November 4.

In three seasons at Memphis (2013-15), Frazier appeared in 38 games (23 starts) for the Tigers, where he registered 135 receptions for 1,599 yards (11.8 average) and eight touchdowns. As a senior in 2015, he was named Memphis' Offensive Player of the Year after finishing with 70 receptions for 797 yards (11.3 average) and four touchdowns in addition to rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Frazier transferred to Memphis from University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff following his freshman year in 2012.
