The San Francisco 49ers announced on Friday the signing of nine of the team's 11 draft picks and 12 undrafted rookie free agents. To make room on the roster, the team has waived kicker Corey Acosta, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, running back Kendall Gaskins and quarterback Dylan Thompson.

Was the first of three fifth round draft picks (142nd overall) in this year's draft out of Appalachian State University. He started all 51 games in which he appeared in for the Mountaineers and registered 221 tackles, 21.0 sacks, 53.5 tackles for loss, four fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, one interception and two passes defensed. In 2015, Blair was named Sun Belt Conference Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year and First-Team All-Sun Belt after tallying 71 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 19.0 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one interception in 13 starts. As a junior, he was a Second-Team All-Sun Belt honoree and notched 43 tackles, 6.0 sacks, 13.0 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed in 12 starts. In 2013, Blair started two games and recorded seven tackles, 1.0 sack, 1.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery before receiving a medical redshirt. As a sophomore, he was named First-Team All-Southern Conference as he started all 12 games and registered 60 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery. Was the first of two first-round draft picks (7th overall) selected by the 49ers in this year's draft. In 54 games at the University of Oregon, he finished with 232 tackles, 18.0 sacks, 36.0 tackles for loss and nine passes defensed. In 2015, he was named First-Team All-America by USA Today and Second-Team All-America by the Associated Press. In addition, he earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors and the Morris Trophy Award, a prestigious honor voted on by opposing Pac-12 offensive linemen. He appeared in all 13 games and registered 83 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 17.0 tackles for loss and five passes defensed last season. As a junior in 2014, Buckner started all 15 games for the Ducks, and was named Second-Team All- Pac-12 after recording 81 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and four passes defensed. In 2013, he appeared in 13 games (eight starts) and registered 39 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss. As a freshman in 2012, Buckner received the Casanova Award as the team's top first-year player after appearing in 13 games (two starts) and recording 29 tackles, 1.0 sack and 2.5 tackles for loss. Was the third of three sixth round draft picks (213th overall) in this year's draft out of Michigan State University. In four years with the Spartans, he played in 51 games (23 starts) and tallied 165 receptions for 2,174 yards and 10 touchdowns. His 165 career receptions ranks 2nd in school history, behind only WR B.J. Cunningham (218). In 2015, Burbridge was named the Richter-Howard Big Ten Receiver of the Year in addition to earning First-Team All-Big Ten and Honorable Mention All-America honors as he played in 14 games (13 starts) and led the Big Ten in receptions (85) and receiving yards (1,258) while adding seven touchdowns. Burbridge became just the third Spartan receiver to lead the Big Ten in receiving yards (WR Charles Rogers - 2002; Tony Lippett - 2014) and the second to lead the conference in receptions (Kirk Gibson - 1976 and 1978). In 2014, he played in 13 games, notching 29 receptions for 358 yards and one touchdown while being selected as the offensive recipient of MSU's Tommy Love Award for most improved player. In 2013, Burbridge played in 13 games (three starts) and recorded 22 receptions for 194 yards. Was the third of three fifth round draft picks (174th overall) in this year's draft out of the University of Mississippi. During his two seasons at Mississippi, he started all 26 games for the Rebels. In 2015, Cooper was the Kent Hull Trophy winner, presented to Mississippi's college offensive lineman of the year, as he started all 13 games and helped Ole Miss lead the SEC in scoring (40.8 points per game), total offense (517.8 yds. per game) and passing offense (334.7 yds. per game), which ranked in the top 10 nationally and set school records in each category. In 2014, he started all 13 games. Cooper transferred to Ole Miss after spending the 2013 season at the College of DuPage, where he earned Second-Team NJCAA All-America honors. He began his collegiate career at Bowling Green, where he started all 13 games in 2012 and was part of an offensive line that averaged 153.4 rushing yards per game and a unit that allowed just 15 sacks in 13 games. Was the first of three sixth round draft picks (207th overall) in this year's draft out of Louisiana Tech University. In just one season at Louisiana Tech, he was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year and also earned Honorable Mention All-Conference USA, Conference USA All-Academic Team, Louisiana Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-Louisiana honors. Driskel started all 13 games in 2015 and completed 281 or 450 attempts for 4,033 yards, 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions. His 4,033 passing yards ranked 3rd in school history for a single season. Driskel transferred to Louisiana Tech after graduating from the University of Florida. In four years with the Gators, he played in 29 games (21 starts) and completed 328 of 552 attempts for 3,411 yards, 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions, while rushing for 644 yards and 8 touchdowns on 220 carries. In 2014, he played in nine games (six starts) and completed 114 of 212 attempts for 1,140 yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while rushing for 180 yards and four touchdowns on 69 carries. In 2013, Driskel started all three games in which he appeared and completed 42 of 61 attempts for 477 yards and two touchdowns. In 2012, he started all 12 games in which he appeared and completed 156 of 245 attempts for 1,646 yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions, while rushing for 408 yards and three touchdowns on 118 carries. Over his final two seasons (2014-15), Iworah started all 27 games and registered 79 tackles, 16 passes defensed and five interceptions. As a senior in 2015, he finished with career highs in tackles (42) and interceptions (four). In three seasons with the Gators, he appeared in 37 games and rushed for 2,108 yards and 23 touchdowns on 486 carries. In 2015, Taylor rushed for 1,035 yards and 13 touchdowns on 259 carries, while adding 17 receptions for 150 yards. He became the ninth player in school history to rush for 1,000-or-more yards in a season and his 259 carries were the second-most in school history. In 2014, Taylor played in 12 games and rushed for 565 yards and six touchdowns on 116 carries. He appeared in 53 games (48 starts) during his four-year career with the Bulldogs. As a senior, Theus started all 13 games and was voted the Bulldogs overall team captain in additional to winning one of four Coaches' Leadership Awards and earning First-Team All-SEC honors. In 2014, he started all 13 games and earned AP Honorable Mention All-SEC honors as the offensive line led the SEC in rushing (257.8 yards per game). As a sophomore, Theus played in 13 games (8 starts) and was part of an offense that ranked second in the SEC in passing. In 2012, he was named to The Sporting News All-America Freshman Team. That season, Theus started all 14 games and became just the third true freshman to start at tackle in a season opener for Georgia since freshmen became eligible in 1973.
