Another 49er will soon be a hall of famer.
Former San Francisco nose tackle Manu Tuiasosopo will be inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame on May 31 in Seattle.
Tuiasosopo, who is of Samoan heritage, finished his eight-year NFL career with three strong seasons as a member of the 49ers. The Los Angeles native recorded seven sacks and an interception in 46 career games (30 starts) for the red and gold between 1984 and '86.
He spent his first five pro seasons in Seattle; the Seahawks drafted him with the 18th overall pick in 1979.
Among the hall's other three 2014 honorees is ex-Olympian swimmer Nathan Adrian.
