The San Francisco 49ers activated a pair of rookies on Sunday.
The team announced linebacker Aaron Lynch has been taken off the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List and center Marcus Martin was removed from the Active/Non-Football Injury List.
The team also activated rookie wide receiver Bruce Ellington off the NFI list on Friday. The fourth-round draft pick has yet to practice fully in training camp. Sunday's fourth practice session of camp begins at 2:30 p.m. PT. It remains to be seen if any of the three rookies will join practice.
San Francisco currently has four players on the PUP list: linebacker NaVorro Bowman, nose tackle Ian Williams, tight end Garrett Celek and rookie defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey.
In addition, the team has four players on the NFI list: running back Marcus Lattimore, fullback Trey Millard, cornerback Keith Reaser and guard Brandon Thomas.
