How do you spend your time outside of Gold Rush?
Outside of Gold Rush I love to go on walks around my neighborhood to explore the shops and restaurants. I also love to travel and on weekends off I always like to visit my family in San Diego or go to Disneyland with them!
What are you passionate about?
I work in Higher Education and am very passionate about equity and access. I believe everyone, especially historically underrepresented students, should be able to obtain higher education and have the necessary resources to be successful.
Tell us more about your job. I work as an Admissions Counselor at a university in the Bay Area. I am on the visitor experience team so I speak to a lot of prospective students and families. My favorite part of the job is getting to read and evaluate applications and then see the hard work pay off when students visit for our admitted student' day.
What is your favorite memory at Levi's® Stadium?
My favorite memory at Levi's® Stadium has been the NFC Championship game last season. I will never forget us dancing to "Don't Stop Believing" at halftime while Journey performed, and the team turned the game around to come out with a win! Celebrating with the confetti was the most surreal moment of my life (and I made sure to bring a plastic bag that day so I could take some home with me).
What's the energy like in the Gold Rush locker room on game day?
The game-day energy in the Gold Rush locker room is definitely electric. We are all running around helping each other get ready, doing some last-minute practicing, and filming fun content for social media. Our locker room DJ (Britney) always makes sure to blast music to keep the energy up, and overall, it's just a great time to bond with our teammates.
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
My favorite thing about being a member of Gold Rush is how inspiring my teammates are. It is so motivating to be around 31 well-rounded, talented, and accomplished individuals and it drives me to be the best version of myself!
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My family! They have supported me throughout my whole dance journey and have driven 8+ hours each way to come to games.
Who is a woman in sports that inspires you?
Kristin Juszczyk is a woman in the sports field who inspires me. She is so creative and has taken sports fashion to a new level. She encourages so many others to follow their passions. Last year I had the opportunity to attend an event that she hosted with the 49ers and she was the most humble, kind, and stylish person I have ever met! I can't wait to see her creations this year.
