How do you spend your time outside of Gold Rush?
The time is limited! But I love to get outside—that is my favorite part about Northern California. You have world-class hiking, skiing, and beaches, all a short drive away. Exploring the area is the best way to spend time here.
What are you passionate about?
I'm passionate about being a good friend, teammate, daughter, and person and about remembering that nothing is that serious—life is to be enjoyed.
Where were you born, and where do you live now?
I was born in Napa Valley and now live in San Francisco—I cannot run out of good things to say about either city!
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
Making Gold Rush, of course!
Do you have any pets? Tell us about your favorite furry friends…
Ruby and Frank are my family's 2 golden retrievers—they are mother and son and the lights of our lives.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My friends—could not be doing this without their support! Love you girls!
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
I started dancing later in life, at age 13, because I was so hugely inspired by / drawn to the several women in my life I knew who were former professional dancers. Several individuals from my high school program were on Gold Rush, the local studio owner was a former Raiderette, and my own mother was a former Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader. I had no inclination toward dance but had so many arrows pointing toward this path, and I thank God every day that I ended up here. Once I started dancing it was a high-speed train until now, and has become the most important part of my life.
How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
It makes me emotional to think of where I was when I joined the team in 2021. I have grown into a completely different person—as an athlete and as a woman. I could not be more grateful for what this organization and the people within it have given me. It has affected me positively in every facet of my life.
Tell us about your favorite community appearance that you've attended as a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
My favorite appearance was right before the NFC Championship last year, a group of us were on Good Morning America, along with a group of the Faithful. The call time was 2:30 am—and there were already hundreds of fans who beat us there. To see how excited people were for this football game, how much they cared about the organization, how badly we wanted this win, and how it brought the community together really reminded me why we do what we do.
