Tell us more about your job.
I have been lucky enough to find a job in which I can explore and utilize many of my different passions. I am extremely passionate about technology and fostering relationships, and I get to combine both of those in my role. I am a Software Client Leader at a big technology firm where I get to interact with clients every day, solving their technical needs through demonstrations, problem-solving, etc.
What is a non-profit organization you're involved in and why did you choose to get involved?
Ever since college, I have been extremely passionate about the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I was a Chi Omega, and our main philanthropy was Make-A-Wish. We helped put on "wish parties" for the kids and wrote them letters over the years. It was such a rewarding experience. As philanthropy coordinator, I am excited to see how we can bring Make-A-Wish and other organizations into the Gold Rush experience!
Who or what inspires you?
My family inspires me. They have all been successful, in their own unique ways, which has set such a standard for me to follow. They encourage me, as well as others, to follow our dreams while being right there to support. I feel so blessed to have them - I love my family so much!
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
Something you may not expect from a girl who grew up in Texas and now lives in California is that I am a huge skier! I have grown up going to Colorado every year to ski with our best family friends. We have completed the "Talon's Challenge" twice (and hope to do it again soon). It is a challenge where you complete the 14 hardest runs on the mountain in a certain time frame. We are normally sore for days after but love the challenge!
What is your favorite memory at Levi's Stadium?
I have so many favorite memories, but my favorite memory must be the first Levi's game day I have ever experienced. Walking out on the field, not knowing what to expect, with all my teammates brought tears to my eyes. Knowing all our hard work, both as a team and individually, had finally paid off. There is no better feeling than being on that field!
What's the energy like in the Gold Rush locker room on game day?
The energy in the locker room sets the tone for each game. We are always so supportive and excited for each other when it comes to game day. We love a good music sesh, silly jokes together, and more importantly, spending the whole day together!
What does it mean to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader?
A Gold Rush Cheerleader comes with a number of honors and responsibilities. The Gold Rush Cheerleaders before us created a fantastic standard for us to uphold. Being a cheerleader consists of sophistication, determination, a positive character, and so much more!
How has being a part of Gold Rush affected your life?
Gold Rush has had such a big impact on my life! It has provided me with such a great community. I would not have had such an easy transition moving to California if it weren't for all my teammates and coaches. Everyone on the team is so inspiring in their own unique way, and it is easy to want to be your best around them.
Tell us about your favorite community appearance that you've attended as a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
Players for a Purpose! I have been fortunate enough to do this appearance the past two years I have been on the team, and it is extremely rewarding. It is a night focused on benefitting the 49ers Foundation through different activities and auctions. All the players, past and current, 49ers leadership and many dedicated 49ers fans are there to make it the best night possible!
