What are you passionate about?
I absolutely love weddings! Over the last few years, I've planned over 10 wedding-related events (bachelorette parties, bridal showers, etc.) for friends. I am passionate about helping my loved ones celebrate big life milestones surrounded by everyone they care about. I also love a good theme!
What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
As the Senior Executive Assistant at my current company, I lead a 10-person task force dedicated to planning large corporate events for our 300 employees. I truly love watching the finished product come to life. I am also a people manager and enjoy helping others grow their careers!
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
I single-handedly planned my entire dream wedding, complete with not one, not two, but three choreographed dances! Also, my husband and I bought a house in the Bay Area a couple of years ago, and making our house a home has been so rewarding!
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
I don't like pizza or drink caffeine!
What impact do cheerleaders have during a game and/or in the community?
Fans really appreciate having us there supporting the players and being the team's spirit. This really hit me after my first appearance, when I got the chance to talk to the Faithful face to face. It's humbling to hear little kids say they aspire to be like us when they grow up or that we are their role models. There's also nothing like seeing fans' faces light up when we smile and wave at them!
What do you like most about being a member of the Gold Rush?
Everyone on GR is genuinely so excited to be at practice and looks forward to seeing each other at every event. I love the constant positive energy and that the whole team hypes each other up and supports one another unconditionally.
Who is YOUR biggest cheerleader?
My husband is my #1 fan and biggest supporter by far! I wouldn't be able to do this without him being my rock, sounding board, feedback giver… also he takes care of Cuppy (our Corgi) every Saturday & Sunday for practices & games.
Tell us about your journey of becoming a Gold Rush cheerleader.
It took 6 years and 3 auditions to hear that "Yes" from GR. The third time's a charm!! I was drawn to the positive, uplifting and encouraging environment that this organization has created, which led me to keep auditioning. I can honestly say it was worth it. I love everything about this team.
Tell us about your favorite community appearance that you've attended as a Gold Rush Cheerleader.
My first appearance ever was a meet & greet at a Verizon store where I met SO many die-hard 49ers Faithful. They had been waiting in line since 9 am when it started at 5 pm. I loved witnessing their devotion to this team and hearing all of their special moments and memories of their favorite players. I'm so grateful to be even a small part of these memories that the fans will remember so fondly.
