How do you spend your time outside of Gold Rush?
Outside of Gold Rush, I'm soaking up time with my family and friends. Whether it's dining out, enjoying a cozy movie night in, or just spending quality time together, I always cherish those moments and memories. And one thing I always try to do on a weekly basis is go to Soul Cycle with my best friends. There's something about working out with friends that just makes me so happy, it's been the perfect cure for when I have those mid-week brain fogs.
What are you passionate about?
I'm most passionate about making meaningful connections with people. If I can bring a smile to someone's face each day I feel as though I've accomplished something truly important. Helping others, whether it's through a kind gesture or offering support when they need it brings me so much joy. If I can make a difference in someone's life, no matter how small, it's incredibly fulfilling and reminds me of the power of kindness. It's those little moments of connection and positivity that drive me and give my life purpose. After all, we're all just drops in the ocean, but together, we can create powerful waves of kindness and positivity.
Tell us more about your job.
As a digital strategist at an agency, I focus on all things social media. My role involves crafting strategies that help brands connect with their audiences, whether it's through engaging content, targeted campaigns, or optimizing their online presence. One of the things I'm most proud of is being able to create meaningful content that makes people feel something, content that sparks emotion and connection. Seeing the positive reactions from clients, knowing that the work I'm doing resonates with their audience and makes a real impact, is incredibly rewarding. It's a dynamic job that combines creativity with analytics, and I love seeing the results of a well-executed strategy in real-time.
Who or what inspires you?
In true Alexa fashion, I can't choose just one person. I'm deeply inspired by my parents and the life they've built for my brother and me. Their strength, sacrifice, and unwavering support have shaped who we are today. The weight they carried made it possible for us to chase our dreams, and I'm forever grateful for that. My brother also inspires me every day, and together we strive to honor our parents by making them proud with every step we take. One thing my parents have always instilled in me is the importance of caring for and helping others, and I am forever thankful for that lesson because it has greatly shaped who I am today. I'm also incredibly grateful to my coaches, who have pushed me beyond my limits and taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and believing in myself. Their guidance, along with my parents' support, has been essential in helping me become the person I am.
What's something our fans would be surprised to learn about you?
Something that might surprise our fans is that I played the violin for 13 years! Balancing music with competitive dancing taught me so much about discipline, patience, and the power of expressing myself in ways that go beyond words. It's a side of me that is very different from what people usually see, but it's been a huge part of shaping my creativity and personal journey.
What does it mean to be a Gold Rush Cheerleader?
Being a Gold Rush Cheerleader means becoming part of something much larger than myself. It's about representing not just a team but an entire community that looks to us for energy, support, and inspiration. We have the privilege of being a bright spot in the lives of fans, offering encouragement on and off the field, and showing up as role models for younger generations. It's more than just performing; it's about creating bonds with the Gold Rush family and carrying forward the rich legacy that past cheerleaders have built. We also have a platform that allows us to highlight the diversity, strength, and unique backgrounds that make up this team. Every time we step onto that field, we represent more than just ourselves, we embody the unity and passion of an entire fan base, and that's something truly special. It's an honor to be part of this tradition, and I'm proud to contribute to something that leaves a lasting impact on others.
