Shelby Soltau is in her first season as senior coordinator, alumni relations & player engagement. She previously served as the 49ers player engagement coordinator for four seasons (2018-21) after spending the previous five seasons interning in various departments throughout the organization including the 49ers Museum, Event Marketing and Football Affairs.

Soltau assists current and former players in their personal and professional achievements while providing tools needed to succeed in the transition into and out of the NFL. Her responsibilities include coordinating Rookie Success Programs, Alumni appearances and events, and providing assistance and resources in mental health, continuing education, career development and financial education. The 49ers Player Engagement and Alumni departments work together to educate and empower individuals to reach their full potential both on and off the field

A Bay Area native, Soltau has also worked part time for Stanford Football, in Event Presentation for the San Jose Sharks and as the Community Grants Assistant for the Golden State Warriors.

Soltau graduated from Santa Clara University in 2016 with a degree in communication. She currently resides in Santa Clara, CA.
