Robert Lloyd is in his seventh season with the 49ers as an assistant equipment manager after spending the previous three seasons (2013-15) as an equipment manager intern.

Lloyd began his equipment managing career at the University of Arizona, where he served as a student equipment manager for the football program. As a senior at the University of Arizona, Lloyd served as the head student equipment manager, where he led a group of 15 student managers. After graduating with a degree in sociology, with a minor in sports management, Lloyd joined the 49ers as an intern in 2013.

As a charter member of the Professional Football Equipment Managers Society (PFEMS), Lloyd serves on the Committee for Health and Safety focusing on lower extremities and footwear. A native of Foster City, CA Lloyd attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, CA. He now resides in Santa Clara, CA.
