Jordan Mazur is in his seventh season in the NFL and second as the 49ers director of nutrition after serving the previous four seasons as the team's coordinator of nutrition. In 2015, he spent the year with the Philadelphia Eagles in the Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program.

Prior to joining the 49ers, Mazur served as the director of sports nutrition at the University of California, where he was responsible for overseeing all nutrition and dietitian related services for student-athletes. While working with members of all coaching staffs, the strength and conditioning staff, the sports medicine staff and related student-athlete service providers during his time in Berkeley, he helped implement a collaborative and comprehensive approach to training, nutrition and recovery, as well as aided in the treatment of diet and nutritional related medical issues.

Before his time at California, Mazur worked at Mazur Nutrition Coaching in 2016, a private practice focused on consultation, nutrition evaluation and healthy lifestyle support. He joined the Eagles organization in August on 2015, where he spent the season working closely with the strength and conditioning staff on all aspects of athlete nutrition and recovery.

Prior to his time with the Eagles, Mazur earned a master's degree in exercise science from Florida State University in 2015. While at FSU, he worked as a performance nutrition intern at EXOS, where he learned how to evaluate and understand the fundamental needs of athletes based on their goals and how to apply those needs to an integrated approach to athlete care.

In 2012, Mazur graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences. During his time in Connecticut, he worked as a nutrition assistant at Manchester Memorial Hospital and as a diet technician at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, where he provided nutrition counseling and assisted patients with specialized diets.
