Many of the top 101 free agents, according to NFL.com's rankings, have signed on with new teams in the first week of free agency.
The San Francisco 49ers picked up a highly coveted addition in the early stages of the offseason player movement period. The club signed wide receiver Torrey Smith to a five-year contract. Smith, the former Baltimore Ravens downfield threat, was ranked as the seventh-best free agent on NFL.com's list. The 49ers also added veteran running back Reggie Bush, who happened to be the 60th-ranked free agent on the list.
