The San Francisco 49ers announced they have signed the following five draft picks to four-year deals: DT Quinton Dial, LB Nick Moody, QB B.J. Daniels, T Carter Bykowski, and CB Marcus Cooper.
Dial (6-6, 304) was the 49ers fifth-round selection (157th overall) in this year's draft from the University of Alabama. Playing multiple positions across the defensive line, Dial appeared in 25 games for the Crimson Tide, recording 2.5 sacks, 45 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss. He began his collegiate career playing nose guard at East Mississippi Community College.
Dial, a 22-year old native of Pinson, AL, attended Clay-Chalkville High School.
Moody (6-2, 237) was the 49ers sixth-round selection (180th overall) in this year's draft out of Florida State University. Moody played in 49 games for FSU, tallying 155 tackles, two sacks and six tackles for loss. During his senior season, Moody and the Seminoles defense led the nation in yards allowed per play (3.86) and ranked second in total defense (254.14 yards per play). Following the season, Moody was awarded with the team's Don Powell Award as the unsung hero on defense, and was also the co-winner of the Defensive Warrior Award, selected by the strength and conditioning staff. He began his career at Florida State playing safety before switching to linebacker.
Moody, a 23-year old native of Wyncote, PA, attended Roman Catholic High School.

Daniels** (5-11, 217), was the 49ers first of three seventh-round selections (237th overall) in this year's draft out of the University of South Florida. He played in 47 games (42 starts) for the Bulls and finished his collegiate career ranked third in Big East history with 10,501 yards (8,433 passing; 2,068 rushing) of total offense. Daniels also ranked first in school history with 25 career rushing touchdowns.
In 2009, he was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team by ESPN.com and was the Bull's Co-Rookie of the Year along with current New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.
Daniels, a 23-year-old native of Tallahassee, FL, attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee.
Bykowski (6-7, 306), was the second of three selections in the seventh round (246th overall) by the 49ers in this year's draft out of Iowa State University. After transitioning from tight end to offensive line early in his collegiate career, Bykowski proved to be a quick study as he went on to play both tackle positions while being named a Scholar Athlete in 2012 and 2011. He was also selected to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2011 and earned Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2010. He played in 45 games (18 starts) for the Cyclones.
Bykowski, a 22-year-old native of Eden Prairie, MN, attended Eden Prairie High School.
Cooper (6-2, 192), was the third of the 49ers three seventh-round draft picks (252nd overall) in this year's draft out of Rutgers University. Cooper is another 49ers draftee that switched positions during his college career, moving from wide receiver to cornerback. He played in all 43 games during his collegiate career with the Scarlet Knights, recording 88 tackles, one interception, two fumble recoveries and six passes defensed.
Cooper, a 23-year-old native of Hartford, CT, attended Bloomfield High School.
