With the second of three selections in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the 49ers selected Iowa State tackle Carter Bykowski with pick No. 246 overall.
The 6-foot-6, 306 pound tackle ran a 5.31, 40-yard dash at the Iowa State pro day. He also put up 25 reps of the 225-pound bench press and a 28.5-inch vertical jump.
Bykowski is a converted tight end who adds depth on San Francisco's offensive line.
