The San Francisco 49ers announced on Tuesday that they have re-signed running back DuJuan Harris to a one-year deal.
Harris (5-7, 206) appeared in 10 games (one start) in 2016, where he finished with 38 rushes for 138 yards in addition to eight receptions for 115 yards (14.4 average) and one touchdown. He originally joined the 49ers after signing to the team's active roster from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad on December 22, 2015. In two games (one start) with San Francisco in 2015, he registered 27 carries for 140 yards along with nine receptions for 97 yards.
A 28-year-old native of Brooksville, FL, Harris attended Troy University, where he appeared in 50 games (23 starts) and finished his career with 2,635 yards rushing and 32 total touchdowns (27 rushing and five receiving).
